Where It All Started

At Wander Events, we believe the most impactful events are rooted in connection and brought to life through collaboration, creativity, and intention. But that belief didn't begin with a business plan. It was built over years of experiences, relationships, and a career spent bringing people together.

Wander Events was founded by Kyle Anderson, an event professional with more than 15 years of experience in the events industry, including 12 years managing corporate events across a global network. His experience spans conferences, trade shows, executive meetings, incentive programs, client summits, sales kickoffs, awards dinners, and an indeterminate amount of custom, executive-level requested events (because every idea is worth a chance to Kyle).

For more than a decade, Kyle has also worked within the Agile methodology, collaborating as part of Agile marketing teams where adaptability, transparency, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement are at the core of how work gets done. That experience has shaped his approach to event management; embracing the reality that plans evolve, priorities shift, and the best results often come from bringing the right people together, communicating openly, and adapting along the way.

The combination of event expertise and Agile experience allows Wander Events to bring a fresh and original perspective to every engagement: structured enough to keep things moving, flexible enough to adapt, and collaborative enough to make everyone feel like part of the process.

More Than a Name

The name Wander Events was inspired by wanderlust - a desire to explore the world and experience what exists beyond the familiar. But for us, wandering has never been just about the places you go. It's about the people you meet along the way throughout the journey, whether new or familiar.

Every destination has a story. Every event brings together people with different experiences, perspectives, and purposes. Sometimes those people are meeting for the first time. Sometimes they're strengthening relationships that have existed for years. Sometimes they're coming together to celebrate, to learn, to solve a problem, to recognize an achievement, or simply to reconnect.

Those moments are what make events matter.

After years of managing events from concept through execution, it became clear that the greatest value an event professional can provide isn't simply checking boxes or managing logistics. It's creating the confidence for clients to step back, stay focused on what matters, and know that the details are being handled with intention by someone who cares, because he’s been in your shoes.

Wander Events partners closely with our clients, acting as an extension of their team and meeting them where they are. Some clients may need us to take the reins and manage every detail. Others want to be involved throughout the process. No two clients work the same way, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach. We tailor our partnership to provide exactly the level of involvement and support each client needs. The goal is simple: take the work off your plate without taking you out of the process.
